Teaching & Workshop

Sometimes we capture a time-lapse while preparing an exhibition, simply as a keepsake.
And sometimes, during workshops, we’ve recorded spontaneous videos.
These unfiltered, genuine moments reflect our true selves and here, I offer you glimpses of those pieces.
Here's a time-lapse capturing those moments offered to your eyes with care
like the difference between preparing an artwork for a gallery versus for a specific décor...
understanding composition within a space,
that shape 80% of an artist’s true learning.
I’ve always poured my heart into every session
and shared all I know, with complete generosity.
You must share technique without blocking the student's imagination.
They should know yet create beyond what they know.
You’ve truly succeeded as a teacher
when your students’ works no longer resemble your own…

What remains from the effort in abstract workshops is, in itself, a work of art

The days before an exhibition
filled with work, planning, and sometimes stress
but truly, they are the sweetest moments of an artist’s
life.

They say love is the reward of love
and I have felt that with all my heart.
Whether it’s my birthday, Teacher’s Day, or no occasion at
all,
I’ve been embraced by the kindness and affection of my
students.
In their surprises, their celebrations
your love fills me.
Stay radiant, dear ones.

Art in action

It fills not only the artist, but also the viewer of these sacred moments,
with peace and hope. The beauty of these passionate, creative moments
offered now to your eyes.
Irreplicable Creations
What you see here is not a rehearsed choreography
It’s an improvisation.
In these abstract works, each line flows from the roots of
Persian Shekasteh calligraphy,
yet breaks free from both mental and material clichés.
No rulers, no templates
only the hand responding to the rhythm of a mind trained
through years of devotion to traditional arts.
Each piece is a singular moment,
impossible to repeat.
No one else can replicate it, not even I.
And that is the quiet wonder of these works.
24-Carat Gold
In this video, you’ll witness part of the delicate process
behind adorning classical calligraphy
where 24-carat gold leaf is ground using traditional
techniques and transformed into a fluid, gleaming pigment.
With a trailing tool once used by architects to draw precise
lines of varying thickness I apply golden borders to the
work.
Then, using agate stone, I burnish the gold until it shines
like a mirror.
Finally, with custom-made tools, I impress subtle patterns
onto the surface,
so that under light, it shimmers with a jewel-like
brilliance.
Persian art…
and its thousand graceful charms.
The Mirror Case
Since ancient times, Iranians have adorned hand-held and wall
mirrors, wooden boxes, and papier-mâché pen cases with elegant
decorative designs.
In a recent workshop with dear friends and students, I shared
the traditional methods used to decorate these precious
objects
techniques rooted in Iranian heritage, using plant-based
materials and handmade tools.
This video offers a brief glimpse into the process of pressing
a calligraphy piece onto a wooden mirror case
a practice carried out entirely by hand, with care, precision,
and traditional craftsmanship.
