Education

I was only fifteen when I began learning Persian calligraphy.
By the time I was in 10th grade, I had already earned the “Alee”
(Advanced) certification from the Iranian Calligraphers
Association.
Our school didn’t have an art teacher so I became one. I taught
art in the very classroom where I was still a student.
That was the beginning of my teaching journey...

Calligraphy classes are more than just instruction, They are
indescribable
moments of shared beauty, kindness, and the
finest of human virtues.
A roundtable of humanity...

Later on, I taught calligraphy through the University of Tehran’s
cultural association.
And this honor continued until I established Saqi Gallery in 2013,
where I officially and passionately dedicated myself to teaching
art.
Since then, hundreds of artists once my students have gone on to
shape beauty with their own hands.
Throughout the years, I pursued many forgotten Iranian arts,
traditional craft techniques, and interdisciplinary practices.
I studied under great masters of our time and learned much through
direct experience.
I made a promise to myself:
Never let knowledge be buried with me.
Every year, through specialized workshops, I pass on everything
I’ve learned with precision, depth, and live demonstration.

A visual glimpse into one of the professional development
workshops.
In this session, participants not only learned how to
professionally present their
visual artworks,
but also acquired essential techniques to preserve their
creations for centuries
ensuring their durability and protection against
deterioration.

A visual narrative from another workshop.
This session revived rare and long-forgotten techniques that
fused visual arts
with handcrafted wooden objects.
Participants received hands-on instruction with meticulous
detail and today,
every attendee skillfully applies these techniques with
remarkable quality

I've created a short film capturing the making process of a
calligraphy artwork
a visual story of how it journeys through time and becomes
timeless.
