Artist Portraits

My favourite table where wood and metal are shaped by hand.
This space carries traces of my grandfather’s home; a place where
colours recall the roots they come from.
I wanted to share with you the cradle of my classical creations the
place where it all begins.

Whatever the branch, visual art always begins with design.
Here I am with my table, my tools, and my sketches…

When my abstract canvases reach the stage of layering and shading, I
no longer continue in the workshop
the raw studio environment is no place for a completed, unguarded
piece.
I finish my cherished works here, in a clean and quiet room a space
worthy of the presence of art.

My simple, beloved studio where I prepare my canvases and texture
paste,
where forms take shape directly by hand, where the first layers of
color are born.
This room is the most unpretentious part of my artistic process and
perhaps the most honest.
